Eating at the museum
The only space in the museum where groups can eat and drink is in our lunch room on the first floor. There’s room for one group of up to 40 children and adults at a time. Free use is included if you’ve booked a museum-led session on your visit. If you’re making an independent visit, contact us to book this space (subject to availability) for only £1 per pupil.
Please report to the main Reception area. Our Visitor Services staff will show you where you can leave coats and bags. If you’ve booked one of our sessions, a Museum Educator will meet you.
We encourage taking lots of photos but please don’t use a flash or tripod.
Should you need to cancel or make changes to a school booking please refer to our help page, under cancellations and refunds.
