Blaise Castle House Museum is set in a late 18th century mansion and situated in the beautiful parkland of Blaise Castle state at Henbury. Weird and wonderful objects show how people used to live. School groups love the Victorian schoolroom and our Discover Toys workshop is a favourite.

Please bring at least one adult for every six Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils or one adult for every 15 Key Stage 3 pupils. Pupils should be supervised at all times throughout your visit including visits to the toilet.
Due to the age and layout of the house, access is restricted. All current workshops take place on the Ground Floor of the museum.

Please report to the main Reception area. Our Visitor Services staff will show you where you can leave coats and bags. If you’ve booked one of our sessions, a Museum Educator will meet you.
We encourage taking lots of photos but please don’t use a flash or tripod.
