In Accord Choral Performance

Join Bristol’s a cappella choir In Accord for an evening of song and poetry celebrating landscape and nature.

Come early at 6pm for a quiet after hours view of the National Treasures: Constable in Bristol “Truth to Nature” exhibition before the concert, or join the concert at 7.30pm.

In Accord is a recently established Bristol-based group of skilled non-professional singers that looks to connect music and words, poetry and place, and moments across time. We welcome them back to the fabulous cultural and acoustic environment of our rear hall space to celebrate the presence in Bristol of John Constable’s much-loved painting The Hay Wain, and share songs and poems about landscape, nature and climate. Centrepiece will be Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending, as arranged for violin and choir, when they will be joined again by the amazing Alice Cui on violin.
