M Café

M Café is located on the ground floor of M Shed and enjoys lovely views across the harbour and city.

We can’t wait to welcome you for exquisite new tasty dishes and refreshing drinks on our sunny terrace!

Relax and enjoy lunch, a light snack or a tea-time treat while taking in the views of the harbourside. Come and experience our new bar serving Cornish brewed beers and local rums and gins. In warmer weather, appreciate the shade of our new umbrellas. It’s the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by with a drink until sunset.

For younger visitors, we have dedicated ‘kids bites’ offering a range of hot and cold food – all locally sourced and homemade in our kitchen. Highchairs are available.

Opening times

M Café is open from 10am – 4.30pm, Tuesday – Sunday serving tea, coffee and cakes. The kitchen serves food from 11am – 3pm.

Hire M Café

M Café is also available for private hire in the evenings. If you wish to hire our little gem in the corner of the museum, please contact us for more information.
