Explore ancient Egypt through the life and work of Amelia Edwards, a nineteenth century Bristol Egyptologist.
Children will:
- Hear about the life and work of Amelia Edwards
- Handle real and replica artefacts and match them correctly with places visited by Amelia Edwards during her journey through Egypt in 1878-79
- Learn new and memorable facts about life in ancient Egypt
Suitable for: Year 3-6
Group size: Up to 35 pupils – you can book more than one session. If you book more than one workshop on the same day you will receive a 10% reduction on the cost of all the workshops.
Duration: 60 minutes
