Posted on by Fay Curtis.

Something for Nothing is a photography project by Sarah Robbins that celebrates the volunteers that support the harbourside area.

During the first few months of 2018, Sarah worked with volunteers from organisations associated with Bristol’s historic harbourside including M Shed, MV Balmoral, The Matthew, SS Great Britain, Underfall Yard and Bristol Ferry Boats.

A selection of the resulting photographs will be on show at
L Shed during the weekend of 9 – 10 June, marking the end of National Volunteers’ Week.

The photographs represent a cross section of the volunteers, the various roles that they undertake throughout the year and the benefits that they gain from volunteering.

Sarah is a mature student at UWE Bower Ashton.
