David Bowie: On Tour

Over 100 highlights from the V&A’s David Bowie’s archive are coming to Bristol in Summer 2028. 

This tour will give a rare glimpse into David Bowie’s creative process and how he shaped his iconic image, music, video, TV and film work – and his role as a collector and archivist. 

Highlights include legendary costumes, musical instruments, career-spanning photography, plus never-before-seen items including Labyrinth Polaroids, a Ziggy Stardust-era acoustic guitar, unrealised scripts, and handwritten lyrics, performance notes and costumes from Bowie’s final albums, The Next Day and Blackstar. 

The tour will come to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery June to September 2028.
