School’s out! Teacher Takeover
School’s out! Celebrate the end of the year with our Teacher Takeover on Monday 26 June. A special drop-in event at M Shed, exclusively for Teachers and totally FREE!
Mingle with colleagues on Bristol’s vibrant harbourside and discover why M Shed is the perfect destination for learning about local history. Meet our learning team and take part in some exciting opportunities, including the chance to:
- Immerse yourself in Bristol’s history and road-test our new gallery resources
- Dress up as your favourite Bristolian for #selfies
- Puzzle over our gert lush quiz (with prizes to be had!)
- Handle learning resources from our local history workshops
- Network as you enjoy complimentary drink and finger buffet
- Take home a Bristol-themed ‘goody bag’
The museum will be closed to the general public, providing a unique opportunity to takeover the galleries and see behind the scenes.

The Teacher Takeover will run between 3.30-6.30pm. It doesn’t matter if you have 3 minutes or 3 hours to spare, please register your interest and pop along and meet our Learning Team. We look forward to welcoming you to M Shed.
