The cafes receive prestigious food award

We’re thrilled to announce that the cafes at M Shed and Bristol Museum & Art Gallery have achieved silver accreditation from the Soil Association’s Food for Life Served Here Award.

The Food for Life Served Here Award is a prestigious food quality award and widely respected scheme which is raising the standards of food quality, provenance and sustainability.

The Head chef at M Shed preparing mouth-watering burgers in the new GrillshackWe have been recognised for our commitment to enhancing our food offer by meeting ethical standards on nutrition, freshness, sustainability and animal welfare.

Guests visiting our cafés or attending an event at either museum can enjoy our delicious food knowing that we are committed to using at least 5% organic ingredients, using a selection of ingredients produced locally or in the UK, and making healthy eating the easy option.

Serving menus to the silver award standards can significantly reduce carbon emissions and supports local businesses, so this is a win-win for planet-friendly food and the local economy.

As consumers, we are more aware than ever of how our dietary decisions can impact the planet so we’re proud that Bristol’s biggest museums are championing sustainable, honest food.

Check out our cafes and taste-test our food for yourself!
