Home Educator workshop: All about Bumble Bees
Home Educators can join zoologist Dr Sara Frears to discover all about Bumble Bees in this special workshop.
Using microscopes and specimens from the museum’s collections you will learn how to identify common species found in the UK, and have the opportunity to make detailed biological drawings.
Find out how you could collect Bumble Bee data and add it to the Environmental Records Centre for the West of England (BRERC). This data base provides vital information for researchers understanding the biology of species and the impact of environmental changes.
Suitable for students aged 14-18 years.
Duration: 90 minutes
Tickets £10
Due to very limited space in this workshop, we regret that no siblings or adults will be able to attend. We ask that accompanying adults remain in the museum for the duration of the workshop and leave a mobile phone number in case of emergencies.
