Home Educator workshop: Romans and Bristol

Join us for our new Home Educator workshop investigating the Romans in Bristol. We will focus on Kings Weston Roman Villa and what the archaeological evidence can tell us about the lives of the people who lived there.

You will:

• Find out about Kings Weston Roman Villa and what survives from when it was occupied
• Make Roman-themed crafts to take home including a child’s talisman, an offering to the gods and a mosaic
• Handle real Roman objects
• Learn archaeological terms
• Receive a Roman Activity Journal to use during the session with space to record information and sketch objects.

If you are a parent or guardian that would like to attend this home educator workshop with your child, you are very welcome to join in. If you do not want to participate, you must remain inside the museum, in case of emergency. We will ask you for contact details upon registration.
