Blaise 100: Explore the Estate
A special programme of walks designed to explore the Blaise Estate and celebrate 100 years of public ownership.
Each walk focuses on an aspect of the estate’s rich wildlife, its historical connections or its archaeological discoveries. Walk leaders will take you for a gentle stroll to different parts of the park sharing what makes the Blaise Estate so special.

Hidden Blaise
Join the estate rangers for a guided tour around the estate and visit areas usually closed to the public.

Blaise Community Garden
A guided tour around the Community Garden to learn about the history of the site and how its changed over the years. If you want to discover how a thriving community garden works then this is the tour for you!

Humphrey Repton’s landscape
Join the team from Blaise Museum and explore the picturesque parkland created for the Harford Family by the famous landscape designer Humphrey Repton.

St Mary’s Church and churchyard
A guided walk exploring St Mary’s church and churchyard. Learn about the history of this amazing space, the historic memorials and its links to Bristol’s merchant history.

Walk info:
All walks last around 90 minutes and start from Blaise Museum unless otherwise stated. Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of the walk. Suitable outdoor clothing and a bottle of water are recommended.
This event may have to be cancelled at short notice due external factors such as weather conditions. Please check your email ahead of the event for updates or changes to the walk. Tours will go ahead in wet weather unless the conditions are extreme.
Well behaved dogs on leads are only permitted on walks that specify this in the information above.
