Getting here on foot

We’re located on Park Row (BS1 5LJ) – look out for the bright red door. We’re a five minute walk from Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.

Please note that due to ongoing works at Colston Hall there is currently a pedestrian diversion in place on Trenchard Street, with no access to the Red Lodge Museum from the bottom of Lodge Street / Colston Hall.

Getting here by bus

Bus numbers 1, 2, 8, 9, 16, 19, 40, and 41 all travel up Park Street and from the Clifton Triangle.

Getting here by train

Bristol Temple Meads train station is a 25 minute walk away.

Clifton Down train station is a 15 minute walk away, but both are served by the 1, 8 and 9 bus services which would take you to the Clifton Triangle, a five minute walk away.

Getting here by car

The museum is around two miles from the M32 on Park Row (BS1 5LJ).

You can park in any of the city car parks but the closest is Trenchard Street (BS1 5AN), about two minute walk away.

Getting here by boat

You can catch a ferry from Bristol Temple Meads and Hotwells to the city centre, which is a 10 minute walk away.

Boats run every 40-50 minutes – visit the Bristol Ferry Boats website for timetables and fares.

Getting here by coach

The museum is around two miles from the M32 on Park Row (BS1 5LJ).

Coaches can drop off and pick up on Park Row immediately outside The Red Lodge Museum. Please note it’s a very busy road and there’s no waiting at any time.
