Silent Disco – Pre-Pride Party

Limber up for Bristol Pride with this unique silent disco at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery!

Join us for a Friday night extravaganza where top-tier queer DJs deliver impeccable vibes in one
of Bristol’s most iconic venues. We’re 100% inclusive; everyone is welcome to come and have a
good time. You will receive a set of wireless headphones when you arrive, with all three channels ready to
go. Flick through the channels with ease to change the mood on demand, and stop by our fully stocked bar to stay on top form all night. Party packs complete with LED batons and other essentials are available to buy at the ticket checkout and on the night. Please don’t bring your own glow sticks as these are not allowed in
the museum.

Tunes come courtesy of Bristol’s very own Grrrl Crush, a longstanding queer feminist collective
which champions women, non-binary and LGBTQ+ people in music and beyond. We’ve got
three unbeatable veterans on the decks:

Discobobulator

Founder of Grrrl Crush, Discobobulator spins a nostalgic selection of dance floor classics, rave
bangers and guilty pleasures. This Scottish born and bred DJ now resides in Bristol and regularly
DJs at festivals and club nights across the country – from Shetland to the West Country, from
Glastonbury to underground basement raves – bringing her own brand of certified belters to the
dance floor.

DJ Nigel Grace

Swansea born, delivering floor fillers along the M4. Glittering disco remixes and filthy 00’s pop from everyone’s favourite Carling drinker. Expect a sickly cocktail of nostalgia, queer joy and bootyshakin.
Nigel has held residencies at The Blue Lagoon, Mr. Wolf’s, The Stable and as a resident house DJ
for Bristol’s premiere queer club night, CROTCH at Lost Horizon. Dust off your flares and wear some sparkle for a one-way ticket to funkytown.

Mayme Lawless

Mayme Lawless is a passionate lifelong record collector and an emerging force in the Bristol DJ
scene. With an impressive breadth of musical knowledge, she’s captivated audiences at major
festivals and events like Boomtown, Stowaway, Lost Horizon, and Basement 45, as well as her
recent residency at iconic venue The Gallimaufry.

Her sets take listeners on a journey through diverse genres, spinning everything from 90s hip
hop and prog jazz to Asian underground and old-school garage, all while showcasing her
impeccable taste and ability to engage any crowd.

We expect to sell out; book your tickets ASAP!
