Bristol Museum Lates- Wildlife Photographer of the Year
Join us after hours for a chilled-out evening of art, music, and good vibes.
We are doing a limited run of late-night openings for our Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, perfect for a post-work hang out or an arty date night! We will also be hosting a selection of local DJs to fill the halls with groovy beats, so grab a drink and take in the sights and sounds of our incredible building.
27 February: Noods Radio
Born from Sunday morning sessions in 2015, Noods Radio began as a means to share music and bring people together. Since then Noods has become home to an array of misfits, collectors and selectors from around the globe. They come to Bristol Museum with music by Meggy Mac and the Milkshake Boys
Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition
The world-renowned exhibition, now in its sixtieth year and on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, opened at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery in autumn 2024, featuring exceptional images that capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breath-taking diversity of the natural world. Using photography’s unique emotive power to engage and inspire audiences, the images shine a light on stories and species around the world and encourage a future of advocating for the planet.
Sessions to enter the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition are:
- 6pm – 7pm
- 7pm – 8pm
- 8pm – 9pm
Visual display
From 6pm to 9pm, watch as our rear hall is transformed into a stunning display of light and movement with our exciting new projection mapping. Exclusive to the late opening events and courtesy of our digital team here at the museum.
Music: Artists to be announced!
From 6pm to 9pm, catch sets from a collection of Bristol artists from live performances to DJ sets. Artists to be announced.
