Ghost stories: Working from collections

An exhibition of photographs made in response to objects from the British Empire and Commonwealth collection.

This exhibition draws together results made during a workshop delivered by IC Visual Lab and photographer Federico Clavarino.

Participants were each invited to select one object from the British Empire and Commonwealth Collection to form a photographic response within the city of Bristol.

The results show a visual adventure challenging how we interact with archival objects, whilst also touching upon ideas of representation and the history of colonialism.
