Bristol has declared climate and ecological emergencies. How did we get here? What’s our city’s role in it, and how can we help get out of it? What does a just, green future look like?
Think Global: Act Bristol explores big environmental questions affecting people here and worldwide, and presents perspectives from a wide range of local voices.
Historical objects from our collections help us to think through how the industry and growth our city is built on has contributed to the problem, and led to changes we’re experiencing right now. Art commissions help visualise invisible effects and collaborative solutions. Experts and community members discuss the challenges, and the kaleidoscope of great work happening to tackle them.
What we’re missing is YOUR VOICE. We invite you to come along and join the discussion.
Find out more about how you can make a difference, share your tips and actions, and meet like-minded people and work in progress in the Propagator Space. Contribute your vision of a future Bristol and help to harness the power of collective thought and action.
Whether you’re an activist, a scientist, or just feeling anxious and overwhelmed by it all, we hope you will leave feeling more confident in your power to make change. Think Global: Act Bristol!
