ESOL: Behind the Scenes at M Shed

Your learners develop their language skills, learn about their city and engage with Bristol’s cultural life with our free English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tours.

These tours are open to ESOL learners who are 16+ and are long-term residents in Bristol. If you work with international students who are only temporary residents in the city, please see our EFL Tours.

See mysterious bones, huge machinery, delicate models and intriguing objects of all shapes and sizes. Using the stories behind the objects, learners will practise their speaking and listening skills and further engage with the cultural life of their city.

• Suitable for: Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2
• Duration: 1 hour
• Group size: 8-15 learners

All tours are led by a trained museum professional and are graded appropriately for ESOL levels. If booking on one of our M Shed Tours, you’ll also be sent a free Teacher’s Resource Pack that provides both pre-visit and post-visit activities for Pre-Entry, Entry 1, Entry 2 and Entry 3 levels.
