Bring loads of cushions, blankets and your favourite cinema snacks for this special outdoor screening of Early Man on the harbourside!
Our Animating Early Man exhibition will stay open late especially and entry will be free all day so you can make a day of it.
The screening will take place on Museum Square outside the M Shed cafe. M Shed cafe will be open selling drinks and snacks. You are advised to bring warm clothing and waterproofs. You are welcome to bring your own chairs – some space will be allocated for chairs at the back. Please consider other visitors and don’t block their view!
The screening itself will start at around 8pm (as soon as it’s dark enough) but we expect it to be popular and space is limited, so you may want to find a spot a bit early. The film lasts 90 minutes.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of plucky caveman Dug who, along with his sidekick Hognob, unites his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to beat them at their own game – football.
