Brizzle identity: what’s unique?

This free online panel discussion will look at what defines a Bristolian, whether this has changed over time and will continue to change, and what, if anything, is unique about the city and its people.

Are Bristolians stereotyped and do they see themselves differently to how the rest of the country regards Bristolians? It promises to be a lively discussion!

Chaired by Pat Hart, TV host, radio broadcaster and Director of BCfm radio.

This event is part of Brizzle Week.

Panel members include:

  • Makala Cheung – pop music artist and creative director at Filwood Community Centre
  • Neil Maggs – journalist, filmmaker and ‘Proud Bristolian’
  • Lloyd Russell – charity worker and winner of the Bristol Diversity Awards
