Bristol celebrates Disability History Month

This year’s celebration includes a first peek of Rest Room, a new piece about resting spaces by one of the UK’s (and Bristol’s) emerging Disabled arts activists.

We’re also planning a performance by local Disabled musicians, an opportunity to learn how Bristol is leading the way in Disabled people’s music making, information stalls, and more – possibly including an opportunity to try out some adapted instruments.

Adults are welcome to bring children but the event is aimed at adults and interested teenagers.

If you would like to be involved email Bristol Disability Equality Forum. If you are planning to come and would like to discuss your accessibility requirements, please contact Bristol Disability Equality Forum via email or call 0117 914 0528.

BSL interpreters will be available.

In collaboration with Bristol Disability Equality Forum.
