Black History Month: The Black and Green Ambassadors for Bristol – Delivering change in an unforgettable year

Join the Black and Green Ambassadors for Bristol as they reflect on a momentous 12 months.

The Black and Green programme plays a pivotal and instrumental role in nurturing strong leaders from diverse communities across the city in achieving an environmentally just future for all. Their vision is a world in which all people are leading, delivering and benefitting from environmentally and socially-just communities.

Over three years, the programme will recruit, mentor and support nine Ambassadors who are  emerging leaders with environmental and social justice ambitions. They will work with Bristol’s diverse communities, businesses, organisations, and individuals on issues of environmental sustainability, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Hear more about their work and ambitions at this special live event. You will learn about their research into urban green spaces, clean air, and cultural diversity. You will also hear about how they created a community radio show during a pandemic, and what you’ll see next from this ground-breaking programme.
