An introduction to hydropoetics

Join our free workshops to explore and engage with the plants in the hydroponic garden room in the Martian House with artist, Katy Connor.

Hydroponics is the art and science of growing plants in a liquid!

You’ll be invited into the garden room, where you’ll hear about the hydroponic systems, selected plant species and learn how to care for the plants.

We recommend making a day of it by booking a place on the Shinrin Yoku workshop which takes place just after this one. Workshops are suitable for adults aged 18+.

All participants will be required to change into a laboratory suit to access the garden area. Please contact [email protected] if you have any access needs and we will try to accommodate.

These workshops take place at 10.30am – 11.45am on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 20 September
  • Thursday 22 September
  • Tuesday 27 September
  • Friday 30 September
  • Tuesday 11 October
  • Tuesday 18 October
