An introduction to forensic archaeology

Discover the role archaeologists play in solving crimes and find out about the skills and techniques used in forensic archaeology.

Learn how human remains can be investigated to reveal information on age, sex, lifestyle, disease and trauma before solving a case of your own.

Led by Dr Heidi Dawson-Hobbis, Lecturer in Biological Anthropology at the University of Winchester.

The day will involve a practical element working with archaeological human remains and contains content relating to crime scenes that some people may find upsetting.
