Winter lecture: The rise of the robots

In 2017, the Robots exhibition at the Science Museum, London explored the 500-year story of humanoid robots.

The exhibition featured a unique collection of over 100 bots, from a 16th-century mechanical monk to creations from science fiction and modern-day research labs.

Ben Russell was lead curator of the exhibition and will explore the rich cultural roots of robots, and discuss the curatorial process of putting the show together.

Speaker: Ben Russell, Science Museum.

Please note, the winter lectures take place at the School of Economics, Finance and Management, University of Bristol. Parking can be difficult so please arrive an extra 15 minutes to allow plenty of time.
