Running away from Cinderella

The museum is getting a Pride twist with the help of some classic Grimm’s fairy tales!

Bristol artist and darling of the queer scene, Tom Marshman has been working with Freedom Youth and Creative Youth Network to add a new slant to the displays inside Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.

Together Tom and the young people have re-imagined the objects in the museum to be artefacts from the classic Grimm’s fairy stories… with a Pride twist.

In Running Away From Cinderella the beautiful princess is smashing the patriarchy, our charming prince is breaking the rules of his kingdom, and that frog…? It’s gender fluid.

Book a ticket for one of the following time slots: 12pm, 2pm, 4pm. Then pay what you think the event was worth at the end.

Recommended for people aged 16+.
