Bristol Film Festival: Halloween

Join us for a night of Halloween screenings in partnership with Bristol Film Festival.

Take your seats in our rear hall for a mystical cinema experience. You can visit our Magic exhibition beforehand to discover the real examples of witchcraft and the supernatural.

Hocus Pocus
6:45pm – 8:40pm
It’s just a bunch of Hocus Pocus! This cult classic will be screening in honour of our Magic exhibition. Halloween-hating teenager Max Dennsion accidentally resurrects three witches after moving to Salem. As the witches wreak havoc, Max and a few unlikely allies have until sunrise to stop them. With fantastic performances from Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker as the three witches. Find out more and book.

The Witches
8:50pm – 10:45pm
A Roald Dahl classic. Whilst on holiday with his grandmother on the English coast, Luke accidentally stumbles upon a convention of children-hating Witches. The terrifying Grand High Witch (Anjelica Huston) has a plot to turn all children into mice. Will Luke and his grandmother be able to stop her before it’s too late? Find out more and book.

The Conjuring
11pm – 1.10am
A family are tormented by supernatural occurrences when they move into their new home. Based on the reportedly true accounts of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, director James Wan creates a true homage to 70s-style horror. Adults only. Find out more and book.
