Join us at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery for a melodious flight into the world of birdsong.
Artist Andy Holden and his ornithologist father Peter Holden will kick off the evening with an interactive musical talk, exploring both the art and the science of birdsong with the help of live sound performance, moving images, and archival footage.
The second part of the evening will consist of a performance by the composer and professor of music David Rothenberg, author of Why Birds Sing.
Rothenberg specialises in the relationship between art and the natural world and his performance will emulate the sublime rhythms of birdsong.
Presented by Bristol Museum & Art Gallery and University of Bristol.
