Art for ESOL at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery

We regret that we are currently unable to provide this service.

Support your learners development of  their language skills, learn about their city and engage with Bristol’s cultural life with our free English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tours.

These tours are open to ESOL learners who are 16+ and are long-term residents in Bristol. If you work with international students who are only temporary residents in the city, please see our EFL Tours.

Trace the history of art from ancient pots to abstract expressionism. This tour inspires language use through interaction with our beautiful art collection and spectacular gallery spaces.

Learners will give their personal responses to the works, generating vocabulary and practising their speaking skills along the way.

  • Levels: Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Group size: 8-15 learners

All tours are led by a trained museum professional and are graded appropriately for ESOL learners of all levels.

For more information, or to book a tour, please email [email protected].

Our guides have limited availability, so please provide a number of potential dates so we can meet your needs.
