Explore ancient Egypt through the life and work of Amelia Edwards, a Bristol Egyptologist.

Children will:

  • Hear about the life and work of Amelia Edwards
  • Handle real and replica ancient Egyptian artefacts and match them correctly with places visited by Amelia Edwards during her journey through Egypt in 1878-79
  • Learn new and memorable facts about life in ancient Egypt

Suitable for: Ages 7-11
Duration: 1 hour
Group size: Up to 20 children
