Discover: Evolution

Explore Darwin’s and Wallace’s revolutionary ideas on evolution by handling a variety of exciting and unusual specimens from our collections.

Pupils will:

  • Study different natural history specimens
  • Investigate differences within species
  • Recognise how populations may change over time
  • Identify how animals are adapted to their environment

Suitable for: Year 6
Duration: 1 hour
Group size: Up to 35 pupils – you can book more than one session

We have two sessions available at 10.15-11.15am and 11.15am-12.15pm. Further sessions may be available in the afternoon, so please ask.
