Clifton High School is delighted to announce a new partnership with Bristol Museums. We are pleased to be a major sponsor of the upcoming exhibition, Pliosaurus! Face to face with a Jurassic beast, together with sponsorship of the museums’ extensive Annual Education Programme.

Clifton High’s philosophy is to deliver an education that encourages our children and young people to be inquisitive, creative and confident. Our first-class teaching both inspires and challenges and we are thrilled to have found a partner that sits very closely to the School’s ethos.

Following two excellent inspections at the High School this academic year, we are keen to share our expertise within the community. This is currently being delivered to schools in the area by our new bespoke ‘Masterclasses on the Move’ bus. In choosing to sponsor Bristol Museums, we recognise the emphasis that Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, M Shed and the historic houses also place on sharing expertise in the community. Once the Museums’ Education Team saw our bus, we realised we could work together further.

Plans are now in School children stood outside the Clifton High School Masterclass busprogress for the museums to use our bus in their own community work…. so look out for the bus at a school near you!

We are excited about our new partnership and can’t wait to see the Pliosaurus! exhibition when it opens at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery in June.

If you know of any schools or youth groups who may be interested in our ‘Masterclasses on the Move’, please tell them to get in touch with Clifton High School. The masterclasses are free of charge and can be tailor made to suit requirements.
