Blaise Estate walks

Take a stroll around the Blaise Estate on one of our seasonal walks.

Meet our friendly team from Blaise Museum and the Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre (BRERC) for some fresh air and a gentle walk around the park. We’ll be exploring some of the estate’s hidden corners and finding out about Blaise’s amazing history, archaeology and wildlife as we go.

All walks last around 90 minutes and start from outside Blaise Museum. The focus of each walk depends on the route and the walk leader but will usually include information on the estate’s history, archaeology or wildlife (and often all three!).

Seasonal walks take place on:

How to take part

This event is free but please book in advance.  A small number of places may be available on the day but cannot be guaranteed. Bookings close at 5pm on the previous day.

Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of the walk. Suitable outdoor clothing and a bottle of water are recommended.

Although the walk is free, we would be grateful if you could consider making a donation.

Access

Walks may involve muddy paths, uneven ground and/or steep climbs. We will take every measure possible to ensure that everyone can join in but if you have specific access requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to support you.

Cancellation

This event may have to be cancelled at short notice due external factors such as weather conditions. Please check your email ahead of the event for updates or changes to the walk. Tours will go ahead in wet weather unless the conditions are extreme.
