Blaise Estate Ranger walks

Join us for a walk around Blaise with one of the estate’s rangers.

Find out more about the estate with our friendly and knowledgeable park ranger. Explore some of Blaise’s secret spots and learn how the rangers look after the parkland so that it can be used and enjoyed by everyone.

All walks last between 90 minutes and two hours and start from outside the Blaise Estate Cafe. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Walks take place on:

  • Saturday 14 May, 10am – 11.30am
  • Saturday 11 June, 10am – 11.30am

How to take part

This event is free but please book in advance.  A small number of places may be available on the day but cannot be guaranteed. Bookings close the day before.

Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of the walk. The walk will be on areas of uneven ground and could be muddy. Please wear sturdy closed shoes and suitable outdoor clothing. A bottle of water is also recommended.

Any children attending must be supervised by an adult.

Cancellation

This event may have to be cancelled at short notice due external factors such as weather conditions or COVID restrictions. Please check your email ahead of the event for updates or changes to the walk. Tours will go ahead in wet weather unless the conditions are extreme.

Access

Walks may involve muddy paths, steps, uneven ground and/or steep climbs. Unfortunately, they are not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

We will take every measure possible to ensure that everyone can join in but if you have specific access requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to support you.

About our rangers

The Blaise Estate is cared for by a small but dedicated team of rangers who work for Bristol Parks. They maintain the estate and ensure it is looked after for the future. There isn’t much that they don’t know about Blaise!
