Join us on an adventure and discover the story of how Bristol’s landscape was changed by two giants in this active outdoor learning session.
- Follow in the footsteps of giants as they walk through Blaise Castle Estate.
- Hear the story of giants Ghyston and Goram, whose quest for love left their mark on Bristol.
- Take part in nature activities linked to the story, as you travel through the woods.
Suitable for: Ages 5-9 years
Duration: 75 minutes
Group size: up to 25 children
The session runs from 11am-12.15pm
Picnic: Planning on having a picnic as part of your visit? Why not use the beautiful parkland of Blaise Castle Estate
For safety, parents or carers must accompany children to this workshop.
Please meet at Blaise Castle House Museum entrance before the session starts. The museum is open from 11am.
Please ensure children and adults are dressed appropriately for outdoor learning. This includes warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
To ensure everyone’s safety we may need to relocate this session to another Blaise Estate location at short notice (due to poor weather conditions).
There will be no toilet facilities during the workshop. Eating is not advised, as we will be getting messy.
