Family fun: Toys and Lego

Join us for some family fun this summer to explore toys from the past and play with Lego.

Search the museum to see if you can spot our friendly rocking horse, teddy bears, dolls and tin soldiers before creating your very own Lego creation with Gincandescence.

There’ll also be fun-packed tales of toys with Michael Loader, our resident storyteller. Stories run at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Blaise Community Gardens will also be open from 10am until 2pm and the Blaise Plant Nursery open from 10am until 4pm.

Stories and craft residencies at Blaise Museum

We’re pleased to welcome master crafter, Jem Dick and storyteller supremo, Michael Loader to the Blaise Team this year. Both residencies have been made possible thanks to the generous support of the Friends of Bristol’s Museums, Galleries and Archives.
