Why are there giant footprints, a huge bath and even a stone chair carved into the cliffs of Blaise Castle Estate? Discover the story of how Bristol’s landscape was changed by two giants in this active outdoor learning session.
- Follow in the footsteps of giants as they walk through Blaise Castle Estate.
- Hear the story of giants Ghyston and Goram, whose quest for love left their mark on Bristol.
- Take part in nature activities linked to the story, as you travel through the woods.
Suitable for: Year 1–2
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Group size: Up to 35 pupils – you can book more than one session
These sessions run on Thursdays and Fridays between 3 May – 20 July 2018. There are two sessions at 11am-12.30pm and 12.30pm-2pm. Further times and dates may be available, please get in touch.

An indoor lunch space at Blaise Castle House Museum may be available for groups who book onto this session but this is not guaranteed. Please enquire before booking. Unfortunately we are unable to provide lunch space for independent visits.
